Tiny&Vast is a yoga school dedicated to your creative emergence as a facilitator, supporting you to embody, integrate and transmit somatic, enquiry based yoga grounded in felt sense philosophy.

These are living and evolving containers for enquiry into what it means to be human, creating contexts for exploration that support our felt recognition of interdependence, for the benefit of all.

Curious humans gather here to explore how ancient philosophical ideas meet modern thought, how the cutting edge of science reveals the intuitive knowing of bygone sages, and most importantly, how all of these stories are told through our bodies and available through our own direct experience.

The Tiny&Vast curriculum offers three phases of nourishment and growth.

You can participate in 50 hour, 150 hour and 300 hour containers, layering your learning over time

1

6 MONTHS ONLINE

  • Tend to the soil of your practice and teaching: establish a foundation in somatic yoga, enquiry based pedagogy, and non-dual integrative philosophy

  • Explore the foundational patterns of human movement and how somatics and non-dual philosophy weave to share creative, rich, embodied practices

  • Get a clearer sense of what pedagogic model you are working with, the underlying WHY of your teaching, and how to begin to bring your own felt experience to the forefront of your facilitation.

  • Tend to the vulnerability that can come up in authentic yoga teaching, the creative doubt that is part of an expressive life, and explore how to use your teaching as awareness practice itself.

2

6 MONTHS ONLINE & IN PERSON

  • Root down into detailed study of non-dual tantra through key philosophical texts to hone your felt understanding of key concepts

  • Explore human architecture in motion through contemporary anatomy and embodied embryology with guest teachers that are at the cutting edge of the somatics, interception and movement world

  • Understand the paradigm shift we are experiencing in anatomy as we move from bio-mechanical alignment to bio-motional* integration, from postures to process, and from alignment micro management to self-sensing attunement

  • Cultivate a trauma friendly and inclusive facilitation practice to be able to skilfully honour and welcome diverse human beings into your practice contexts

3

7 DAY IMMERSION IN PORTUGAL

  • Immerse into bhakti yoga to bring mantra, sacred sound and kirtan into your facilitation practice

  • Find your voice and explore authentic expression through a variety of lenses

  • Deep dive into the Bhagavad Gita and stories of the deities to weave rich contexts for practices offered

  • Refine your subtle facilitation skills: seeing bodies, mindful use of touch, assists and cues in enquiry based practice

  • Hone your craft of facilitating stillness practices: meditation, breath, and restorative practices through a somatic lens

  • Access a 3 month online integration container to explore how our practice moves from individual to collective, and hone your skills in bringing your teaching to the world.

You will learn how to facilitate from a place of quiet depth and power, to hold space in a way that brings people into contact with their own curiosity and inner knowing, and to use the practice as a way to invite participants into a felt remembrance of the relationship between all that is tiny and all that is vast; of the ongoing continuity between self, other and the environment to which we belong.

I was so moved by the whole thing and have honestly found this course beyond inspiring. I genuinely feel changed by it in the most humbling, loving and awe inspiring way’

Tiny&Vast will nourish you as a practitioner first, so that you can share and transmit from a place of genuine embodiment. It will build your confidence to offer spacious yet structured, creative and explorative practice contexts. You will step into a beautiful community of incredible facilitators to unpack the importance of how we share yoga, and why. Together we will help you to trust yourself and what you uniquely have to share.

Trainings often under-utilise teachers’ inherent wisdom. The vision of these containers is to locate that knowing and liberate it.

Tiny & Vast is a truly unique training program. I feel richer and more expansive as a direct result of my interactions and time spent with this amazing group of intelligent, generous and kind people. Paula’s ability to present the material with such clarity and a genuine invitation for exploration made this training the most transformative experience. Paula made previously unapproachable subject matters and concepts approachable. Her contagious love of teaching and infectious enthusiasm for both learning and embracing uncertainty helped me understand how I personally learn. I reconnected with my personal practice and my love of teaching and developed a deep appreciation for my own journey.
