A practice continuing with our exploration of circles, spheres and embryology (see previous class) but that also stands on its own with a focus on the spine from the perspective of the tailbone. We explore the dynamic spiral articulation that begins in the tailbone and travels up towards the scull in rotation and play with responsiveness, freedom and expressiveness of the spine. Opens with a little roll around on a small half inflated ball, but you can also use a pillow or the ground if you don’t have (recommend getting one though!). Closes with a rest and some chanting. Props: Small half inflated pilates ball
